Tempus to Double Sales Force in United States, Open New U. K. Location

 

Expansion to Meet Growing Need for Foreign Exchange Services

 By Midsize Companies Underserved by Other Providers

 

Washington, DC – April 10, 2008 – Tempus Consulting, a leading provider of corporate foreign exchange (FX) and international payment services, recently unveiled plans to double its United States-based sales force and open its first overseas office in the United Kingdom. Both moves are expected to significantly increase Tempus’ share of the small-to-midsize business market, whose companies require high quality FX and international payment services.

 

Tempus will more than double the size of its headquarters office at 1225 New York Avenue NW, Washington, DC to accommodate the firm’s additional employees. The expanded space will also enable Tempus to grow in a controlled manner while maintaining the high quality of its services. 

 

“We continue to see a great opportunity to service middle market companies. Our business model, which includes the services of a personal account manager, is ideal for such firms.  Our clients receive individual attention from experts in the field,” states Daniel Wellington, president of Tempus.

 

“Some of our traditional competitors have abandoned this market segment, which has created an excellent opening for Tempus.  Our confidence in this market is such that although there has been a lot of talk lately about recession and cutbacks, we are doubling our sales force,” he added confidently.

 

Tempus also announced that the offices of Tempus UK, Ltd will be opening this summer in the historic university city of Oxford, near London. The new operation will support clients based throughout the United Kingdom and is expected to grow to ten staff members over the next year.
